Our Handball Teams

Handball Skill Development

Play Team Handball commits itself to helping young girls and women identify athletic specific handball aptitude talents that can with dedicated practice can be developed into an extraordinary skill sets as a prerequisite to reaching high level of athletic mastery necessary to compete on national and international level. The organization manages three age-group teams: Futures (U-16), Select (U-20), and Ultimate (20+).

To compete with the best handball players in the country and become eligible for selection to USA National Teams, players must not only learn and master wide range of highly complicated individual technical and tactical skills but also consistently apply them in game-like and match situations. Our dedicated skill camps aim at honing the unique handball skills needed to give our female athletes a competitive edge.

Handball Competition Opportunities

Play Team Handball engages in organizing domestic and international tournaments and leagues in collaboration with local community based entities such as Sports Authorities or Chamber of Commerce. The organization actively pursues sending abroad local and regional teams to compete in marquee European competitions as a way of providing athletes with unsurpassed opportunity to see the world and test their handball acumen.

Handball College Club Support

Play Team Handball resolves itself to partnering with US handball collegiate programs to provide coaching education resources and mentoring, new club formation and intramural assistance, team/club program design including periodization, training organization, skill development tutorials with hybrid delivery uniquely carved to meet the needs of program's athletes and their coaches.

Handball Community Outreach

Play Team Handball wants to help young female athletes realize their full athletic potential and instill Olympic values, while building strong character to become responsible citizens and leaders. We promote participation in handball at all levels, expand the development to all age groups coaches, and officials in communities across Texas by conducting per request sport demonstrations, free PE lessons, after school intramurals, mini handball festivals.
